Inside Nosak Farm Produce: a look at our 200TPD refinery

Refinery pipework at the Nosak plant

Behind every bottle of Nosak Famili Vegetable Oil is a commitment to excellence, powered by modern technology, skilled professionals and sustainable practices. At the heart of it all is our 200-tonnes-per-day (TPD), fully automated vegetable oil refinery in Alapata, Apapa.

Fully automated for efficiency and safety

Our refinery was designed with precision, speed and hygiene in mind. From raw material intake to packaging, every stage of production is automated to minimise human error and maximise consistency.

  • 200 TPD processing capacity
  • 12 storage tanks with a combined capacity of 2.7 million litres
  • In-line quality control systems
  • End-to-end process automation from refining to fractionation

Strategic location, seamless logistics

Apapa is a hub with direct access to Nigeria’s largest seaport. We operate a 3-kilometre pipeline that connects the refinery directly to ABTL (Apapa Bulk Terminal Limited) via the Waziri Jetty. That lets us receive raw materials quickly, keep transit costs and delays down, and serve clients across Nigeria and beyond reliably.

Integrated with our farming and crushing operations

  • 1,300 hectares of oil palm plantations at Saturn Farms, Benin
  • Palm kernel crushing and palm oil milling plants
  • 16,500 hectares recently acquired in Edo State for expansion

We control the value chain from planting and harvesting to refining and packaging, which gives us full traceability and protects product integrity.

Preparing for the future: 1,000TPD

Construction is underway to expand our refining capacity from 200TPD to 1,000TPD over the next 2–3 years, supporting national demand for safe cooking oil, export opportunities across West Africa, and more local jobs.

Our refinery isn’t just a factory. It’s where every drop of Nosak Famili Oil is refined with care.
